Enterprise-wide SMS
Problem
Milwaukee International, a medium hub airport requested services to implement an enterprise-wide SMS including terminal and landside operations and to integrate the SMS into the existing data system. The airport scope included assistance with policy development, media and branding, staff skills development and training, risk management, assessments, audits and airline outreach.
Our Solution
LandrySMS’s background in data solutions and software offered MKE an integrated approach to SMS and SRM data collection and processes. Working with the MKE operations and data analysis representatives, and the software development team an SMS flow was created that allowed staff to trigger an SMS review from both operations and maintenance screens. The Landry Team also completed a gap analysis and implementation plan, jointly developed training and materials, performed safety reviews and audits, and created custom SMS and SRM media, and reference and guidance materials.
Project Highlights
  • Integrated SMS into existing software system without compromising the end user process flows
  • Implemented airport-wide SMS system including landslide, airside, and terminal
  • Developed custom training, materials, and media for outreach
  • Interviewed airline partners for best practices
Net Results
